President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will greet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan as they arrive at Joint Base Andrews.
The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, is holding a full committee hearing this morning entitled “Standing Up for Women in Sports: Ensuring Opportunity, Fairness and Safety for Female Athletes.”
The Judiciary’s Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism, chaired by Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri, is conducting a hearing this afternoon entitled “Always Watching: Flock’s Nationwide AI Surveillance Network.”
Other Senate committee meetings will include briefings on intelligence and U.S. Central Command operations, and hearings on cyber operations, election security, small business and entrepreneurship, nuclear waste management, and wrongful detentions.
